Normal Delivery Times

Normal delivery times are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and 10am-2pm on Saturday.

Next-Day Delivery

In order to ensure next-day delivery, orders must be placed by 12 noon (EST). Any orders taken after 12 noon (EST) will be delivered the following delivery day. For example, if you would like a Wednesday delivery, you must order (at the latest) before 12 noon on Tuesday. Orders taken after 12 noon (EST) will be delivered day after next. We do not offer same-day delivery at this time.  

Sympathy Deliveries

We require at least 48 hours notice for Sympathy orders of casket and standing sprays, wreaths, urn arrangements, and other memorial tributes. Questions? Reach us by phone at (941) 499-7420 or email at hello@novellablooms.com.

Subscription Deliveries

All subscription deliveries are made on Wednesdays.

Home Deliveries

  • A call will be made to the recipient before delivery to private residences to insure someone will be available to receive the arrangement.
  • We will not leave arrangements outside unless directed by the recipient as weather permits. Due the the perishable nature of flowers, we discourage instructions requesting delivery left outside of the home.
  • Customers who request to leave deliveries at the door assume all liability for the arrangements. Novella Blooms will not be held responsible for missing or damaged product due to this special request.
  • If we do not make contact with the recipient, we will try the next day—unless the delivery is on Saturday—and then we will try the next business day.

Holiday Deliveries

We are a studio-based flower shop and to guarantee the freshest floral products and best services, we limit the amount of orders accepted for holidays. During holidays our studio hours and delivery times may vary. To help ensure on-time delivery during these busy times, place your order at least 24-72 hours prior to the following holidays:

  • Valentine’s Day
  • Easter
  • Administrative Professionals Week
  • Mother’s Day
  • Father’s Day

Non-Delivery Holidays

Novella Blooms is closed and does not deliver on the following holidays:

  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Day

Online orders received on those days will be delivered the following delivery day (Monday - Saturday).

School Deliveries

Schools do not typically accept deliveries for students; however, faculty and staff flower arrangements are allowed. Orders must be delivered prior to school dismissal.

Incorrect Addresses

If we attempt to make delivery and the address is incorrect, there is a $15 surcharge fee. Novella Blooms is not responsible for incorrect address information and the customer placing the order assumes responsibility for the entire charge.

Order Changes & Cancellations

To cancel or change orders, please call (941) 499-7420. However, if orders are already en route or delivered the customer will be charged for the original order.

Recipient Refusal of Delivery

The customer placing the order will be charged in full if the recipient refuses to accept a delivery.
